The Stanley combination plane number 13-050 forms a plane with the most functionality in this series of Stanley combination / plough / plow planes.

The other two planes in this range of plane are the Stanley 13-030 plough / plow plane and the Stanley 13-052 plough / plow plane.

This range of planes were developed to take the reign from the Stanley 50 combination plane and the Stanley 50S plough / plow plane as the next generation of Stanley combination / plough / plow planes.

The Stanley 13-050 combination plane has a nickel plated cast iron body with a single brown plastic handle at the rear of the plane.

The 13-050 was supplied with 18 cutters, 2 arms, 2 spurs, a depth stop and a Stanley 13-050 instructions booklet.

This Stanley combination plane was supplied with the following cutters:

Plough (Imperial): 1/8", 3/16", 1/4", 5/16", 3/8", 1/2", 5/8", 7/8"

Plough (Metric): 4mm, 6mm, 9mm, 12mm

Beading: 1/8", 3/16", 1/4", 3/8", 1/2"

Tongue: 1/4"

The 13-050 plane allows cuts to 19mm (3/4 inch) deep with the ability to make cuts up to 5 inches from the edge of the work piece.

The cutters were supplied in a yellow wallet with clear pockets.

The Stanley 13-050 plough plane was presented in a yellow and black Stanley cardboard box with an image of the plane on the top of the box.
