Plane Type: Grecian Ogee
The British wooden grecian ogee
moulding plane
is a plane produced over
a long time period, especially in the 1800's.
The wooden grecian ogee moulding plane has a slight profile difference to an
ogee moulding plane profile; a Grecian Ogee mould has an extra angled
flat slant (on the right) and next to this is a deeper teardrop wave
which is riding towards the flat slant.
See the
ogee plane profile
to see the difference.
