The Stanley veneer scraper number 12 is a 5 3/4 inch long scraper plane
primarily intended for veneer working.
The sturdy scraper plane body is made from cast iron with a winged Rosewood handle which extends beyond both sides to form two handle grips. This handle gives good balance and control when in use.
The body is finished with a black japanning.
The Stanley 12 scraper tool holds blades up to 3 inch wide. The blades are secured in place with the use of the knurled brass nut on the lever cap.
The blade can be set at a range of angles.
