WS A130 Plane Review By: I.Ball

Manufacturer: WS

Plane Type: Block

Model No: A130

The WS block plane number A130 is a double ended block plane with a wooden front knob.

The WS double-end block plane was 'Made In England'.

The blade depth is adjusted by manually setting the blade in the desired position and then locking the blade in place by securing the lever cap.

The curvacious lever cap secures the blade by turning the adjuster wheel underneath the lever cap.

The WS A130 is very similar to the Stanley 130 and Record 0130 double ended block planes.

At a glance and even on closer inspection the WS A130 looks almost identical to the Record 0110 block plane, the only real difference is the plane markings and the appearance of the wooden front knob.

The WS A130 plane was originally supplied in a cardboard box.
