This Robinson Hall mitre square was made with a Rosewood stock / handle which is combined with brass parts for an elegant look.

The blade and the stock / handle are set at an angle for primarily marking 45 degree angles; the angle at which mitre joints are marked / cut.

The blade is secured to the stock / handle with the use of four rivots which are faced with inlaid circular brass sections.
