The brass back Robert Sorby tenon saw.

This saw has a lovely shaped Beech handle secured to the blade with 3 brass split nut screws. The brass medallion on the handle is marked 'Trade mark Kangaroo' which circles a kangaroo logo.

The brass back is marked 'Robt Sorby, Cast Steel, Sheffield', along with the kangaroo and cross symbols.

The saw shown is 16 inches in length and has 10 teeth per inch (tpi). There were different lengthed and tpi versions of this saw produced.
