The Footprint Hand Drill No.161 was a distinctive and uniquely coloured
hand drill from the Footprint tool range.
This Footprint 161 drill was coloured in a series of blues from deep
blue to a metalic futurustic space blue.
The 161 drill was supplied in a Footprint cardboard box complete with
a chuck key.
This Footprint 161 drill was made in Sheffield.
The Footprint 161 hand drill has a Jacob's key tightening, 3 jaw chuck,
ensuring a firm tight grip on all round shank bits and drills.
It has double pinion wheels for strength and a large main gear for firm action.
The die cast body is strengthened and encloses the small pinion gears.
Fitted with comfortable beechwood handles, the side handle can be removed
for storage. The hand drill is fitted with a 3/8" (10mm) capacity chuck.
