Category: Old Hand Saws
Manufacturer: Baier
Tool Type: Hand Saw
Model No:
The Baier 'Masterpiece' hand saw has a chrome-vanadium steel, taper ground
blade which has been precision filed.
The blade is fitted to an 'unbreakable' handle. The handle and the blade
are locked together with the use of 4 brass buttons.
The brass buttons have a flat-head screwdriver slot on the reverse side
of the handle. This allows the user to tighten or unscrew the buttons
as required.
I believe this model of Baier saw was made in Germany.

Handle Markings: 'Baier Unbreakable, Baier the name for saws'
Number Of Buttons: 4
Type Of Buttons: Brass
Blade Markings:
'Baier Masterpiece made from best chrome-vanadium
steel, taper ground, precision filed. This saw is superior in every respect and
is guaranteed against defects of every hand.'
