This old English Archer gents saw was fitted with an elegant Beech
handle with decorative turned grooves and a lifted raised bead near
to the brass ferrule.
The saw has a brass back spine; the spine is fitted with a piece of brass
which gives the saw extra weight and decorative properties.
The saw shown is 7 inches in length and has 16 teeth per inch (tpi).
There were different sized versions of this saw produced.
