Category: Old Wooden Planes
Tool Type: Wooden Planes
Plane Type: T-Rebate
The wooden t-rebate planes are usually small'ish rebate / rabbet planes
which get their name due to the profile looking like an upside down 'T'
when looking from the front or rear of the plane.
The t-rebate planes quite often appear with a variety of different soles. The standard is the flat sole with curved compass soles also being common.
Please see the wooden rebate / rabbet plane review for the core details of this type of plane.
