Stanley 18 Sliding Bevel Review By: I.Ball

Manufacturer: Stanley
Tool Type: Sliding Bevel
Model No: 18 - Eureka

The Stanley sliding bevel number 18, also known as the Stanley Eureka sliding bevel or Stanley Eureka flush T sliding bevel.

The Stanley 18 sliding bevel was nickel plated, made with the following blade sizes:

   - 6"
   - 8"
   - 10"
   - 12"

On the earlier Stanley sliding bevels they were marked 'Stanley' on one side of the stock and 'US Pat 7-14-08' on the rear of the stock.

Probably the most commonly seen versions have the front of the stock marked 'No. 18 Stanley' and the opposite side is marked 'Made In USA'.
