The Stanley sliding bevel number 18, also known as the Stanley Eureka
sliding bevel or Stanley Eureka flush T sliding bevel.
The Stanley 18 sliding bevel was nickel plated, made with the following
blade sizes:
- 6"
- 8"
- 10"
- 12"
On the earlier Stanley sliding bevels they were marked 'Stanley' on
one side of the stock and 'US Pat 7-14-08' on the rear of the stock.
Probably the most commonly seen versions have the front of the stock
marked 'No. 18 Stanley' and the opposite side is marked 'Made In USA'.
