The Spear And Jackson Grand Master hand saw is fitted with a quite distinictive Spear and Jackson Beech handle.

The handle is secured to the blade with four brass buttons, one of which is faced with a 'SJ' medallion.

The blade has a spectacular coat of arms etching on the front face with 'Grand Master' in the flag banners.

The saw shown is 22 inches in length and has 10 teeth per inch (tpi). There were different lengthed and tpi versions of this saw produced.
