This woodwork chisel is well suited to levering out wood from mortices for tenons, locks and hinges.

It also has the added benefit of having a 2 degree side taper to help prevent binding when a cut is made.

This chisel is suited to being used lightly with a mallet; heavy strikes is likely to cause damage to the handle and/or blade cutting edge.
