The Verdict

Review By: I.Ball

Tool Type: Ridge Hoe

Model No:

This ridge hoe or ridging hoe has a head which is attached to the handle by the handle slotting into and being secured in a metal socket which extends from the ridge hoes head.

The ridge hoe is a strange looking gardening tool. When looking from above this hoe, the head almost looks heart-shaped.

The ridge hoe is a very useful tool for gardening work / allotment work and is especially suited to creating rows of soil ridges for crops such as potatoes to grow. One of the advantages of this being the crop is less prone to being flooded / waterlogged.
